The Mabel Tainter Literary, Library and Educational Society, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established under Section 101(6) of the Internal Revenue Tax Code of 1939 on September 21, 1945. Section 101(6) was changed to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Tax Code in 1954.
The Mabel Tainter Literary, Library and Educational Society, Inc. is the owner of the Mabel Tainter Memorial Theater.

To reach us, exit south off I-94 on Highway 25. Continue south to Main Street. Turn left and travel one block, to 205 Main. We are located only one hour from the Twin Cities and 30 minutes from Eau Claire.

The Mabel Tainter Memorial Theater is a non-profit organization that strives to enrich the lives of Chippewa Valley residents through the cultural arts.
As a non-profit, over half of our operating budget comes from the generous donations from local businesses, individuals, and government agencies. Through these donations, we are able to offer a full performing arts season, year-round rotating art exhibits, outreach programs to children, and an all-around fascinating cultural experience.
